Research
We begin our work by interviewing internal and external stakeholders. These are structured conversations with the chancellor, president, deans, board members, faculty and staff to learn about the college’s fundraising experience and systems; financial needs; campus successes; and unique attributes. This process also includes interviews with people from your community that can make a financial difference in the life of your college – elected representatives, business, faith leaders, and alumni. This research can be presented to you as a stand-alone study with suggested next steps or it can be combined with a Campaign Plan that puts the findings into action for you.
 

Planning
After conducting our research we create a Campaign Plan that takes advantage of your strengths and impact on the region. Our step-by-step plans lay out a roadmap for you to follow – one that teaches fundraising fundamentals and educates the reader. Each campaign plan is based on the institution’s unique attributes, culture and financial needs. If you are looking to implement an annual campaign – we can design a plan for that. If you want to combine annual giving with a major gifts campaign – we can design a plan for that as well. We also design Capital Campaigns. Each includes a multiple revenue sources and fundraising methods. This custom-designed plan becomes a roadmap guiding your work for 12 to 36 months.
 

Implementation
Once you have your plan we are ready to help you make it come alive. We help you identify the right staff and volunteers. We provide training and orientation. Everything we do is designed to build your college’s fundraising capacity and infrastructure so that once you complete your campaign you are in an even stronger position for your next campaign. We work with you on-site and via phone and email. You determine the level of service that will best meet your needs.
